Rapid Response Units
Rapid Response Units bring together experts from across the partnership providing immediate respond to “virus” or “performance” events that threaten the interruption of poliovirus transmission in Pakistan. In areas where polio cases or circulating virus is confirmed or suspected, case response or mop-up campaigns are conducted to stop virus transmission.
