Cases by district and province
Every confirmed WPV1 case the programme has published, mapped to the district that reported it. Hover the map to read a record, switch between district and province detail, and use the years to move through the outbreak. Province level also covers 2015–2018, which the programme published without a district breakdown.
About these boundaries. These are pre-2018 boundaries. FATA is drawn as the separate agencies it was then, folded into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as it is today. Districts created after that — Chaman, Kharmang, Shigar, Duki — are counted inside the district they were part of, and Karachi is drawn as one shape covering its seven districts. Case totals stay correct either way.
Population is from the 2017 census, published by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan sit outside the census frame, so their districts show no figure rather than a zero.
Boundary data imported 31 August 2026 and held as a vendored file, so that date is the age of the map, not of the case figures.
